Roombloom was founded to address the increasing need for interior decorators at a more affordable price. Unlike many interior designers which aim to overhaul your entire home, at a hefty price, our goal is to reduce the unrealistic price and provide more reasonable options while maintaining the same high-end level. Roombloom is all about sharing new ideas and solutions, so you can stop dreaming about a makeover and actually begin one. The goal of Roombloom is not to perform a major remodel but instead budget friendly solutions we can normally accomplish in a few days or less.
Our Founder Allison Heck is a former Hollywood Decorator for high profile clients. She has held management roles in decorating, design, merchandising, PR and Sales. Allison holds a BA in art with an emphasis on Creative Design from Penn State University. She has lived on the West coast for 5 years and enjoys traveling to various places for design inspiration.
Allison was inspired to create Roombloom based on the abundance of the population whom needed Hollywood decorating advice but for half the price. After years of running a high-end home organization and accessory boutique and meeting normal people who just wanted some decorating advice, she decided it was time to provide it to them at a more affordable price. She was used to dealing with clients with an abundance of money, and realized the average person did not have such disposable income. She decided it was time to prove that having a decorator did not have to be a luxury anymore. She wanted to make decorating services available to everyone.
